Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026. These terms govern access to and use of the VaultPay website. Using the site means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Who may use the site
The site is meant for business and professional users. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind that organisation to these terms.
What the site is for
Material on the site is general information and marketing. It is not an offer, and it is not a promise to supply a product or service. Any commercial relationship, including payment processing and settlement, is governed by a separate written agreement, due diligence, and the approvals that agreement requires.
Intellectual property
The site and its contents — text, graphics, the VaultPay logo, layout, and software — belong to VaultPay or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, change, distribute, sell, or build derivative works from the site or its content without prior written consent, except where the law allows.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site in breach of law or regulation.
- Do not attempt to reach systems, data, or accounts you are not allowed to access.
- Do not introduce malware, weaken security, or disrupt the site.
- Do not scrape or automate access in a way that harms performance or breaches these terms or someone else’s rights.
- Do not send unlawful, defamatory, or misleading content through the site.
Links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. A link is not an endorsement. You use those sites at your own risk.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice. Get advice that fits your own situation.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VaultPay and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from use of the site, even if we were warned that such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim arising out of these terms or the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred euros (€100) if you paid no fee. Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, liability is limited as far as the law permits. These limits apply to the website. They do not rewrite a separate services agreement.
Indemnity
Where the law allows, you will indemnify VaultPay and its affiliates against claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your breach of a third party’s rights.
Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of the jurisdiction in which VaultPay is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the site, except where mandatory law gives you a different forum. Payment services themselves follow the governing law named in the relevant services agreement.
Changes and severability
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Where the law allows, continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is held invalid, the rest stay in force.
